Anthony Navarro

“There are many engineers who spend time developing their own ‘unique’ sound and that’s perfectly fine, but I like to act as a creative collaborator of sorts by fusing the collective ideas of the producer, label, and artist to life for each individual project…and ideally the finished product results in a mix that best represents their vision.”

…And REPRESENT that vision he does, His technical savvy and creative ability have made Anthony Navarro one of the most “in demand” up and coming engineers in the industry, working with such internationally renowned artists and producers as Kid Rock, Ludacris, R. Kelly, Rick Ross, Keisha Cole, J. Holiday, Pussy Cat Dolls, Whitney Houston, Lil Ronnie, Roy Hamilton, Tyrese and many independent artists.

Born and raised in the Gulf Coast city Pensacola, FL, Anthony’s obvious gift for music became obvious at an early age of 7.  He took piano lessons and throughout his adolescents fell in love with playing the drums. His love for playing the drums was replaced by DJing at age 16. “I was always a fan of music and the ability to mix my favorite records and scratch, and blend different songs to create a new sound simply amazed me. I was hooked. I would spend countless hours late night in my bedroom mixing and scratching and beat juggling. Then I learned how to ‘rock’ the crowd at parties with my DJ sets.”

A good friend later introduced Anthony to his next passion, audio engineering. During his second year of college in Pensacola, he discovered a new career path and found a school called Full Sail. “I was determined to become an engineer even if it meant leaving everything behind and venturing into a highly competitive industry.” This drive led him to his first industry job after graduating from one of the nations best audio engineering programs at Full Sail. He was living in Southern Cali when he got offered a job at The Chocolate Factory Recording Studios in Chicago. This was R. Kelly’s personal studio and Anthony learned the ropes of the music business and also developed and fine-tuned his skills there.

“I feel blessed to do what I love and still have fun. It’s not work when you love what you do.  I never settle for anything less than excellent and my goal is to help artist live out their dreams by creating art in the studio.”

Anthony’s humble approach and creative technique have helped artists out tremendously in their recordings. His ear for sound has helped many artists within a wide spectrum of genres.
