Why do you need your rig calibrated? calibration does several things including improving your stereo imaging, giving yourself ample headroom, and most importantly allows you to accurately reference the level of your mixes so they sound professional. Also, if your system is calibrated it allows you to take your sessions to other studios and mix at an accurate level.
